Na op 11 februari wederom een spectaculaire en vooral zeer geslaagde avond te hebben meegemaakt, zal op 7 juli de bouwtechnische constructie van de P60 in Amstelveen weer eens flink getest gaan worden tijdens een nieuwe editie van Icon.

Zoals gewoonlijk zal deze avond geheel in het teken staan van één act die zich in het verleden bewezen heeft als een echt icoon binnen een bepaalde stijl. Ditmaal gaat het om een artiest binnen de Frenchcore, een stijl die de laatste jaren flink aan populariteit heeft gewonnen. En er is één naam die onlosmakelijk met deze muziek verbonden is, en die zeker sinds vorig jaar niet meer weg te denken is uit de scene: Dr. Peacock! Zijn energieke sets en knallende producties worden alom gewaardeerd, en hij verdient het dan ook keihard om zijn eigen “Icon” te krijgen.

Zoals bij velen bekend kampt Steve de laatste tijd met wat gehoorproblemen, waardoor hij niet in staat zal zijn om de hele avond zelf te draaien, maar zoals hij zelf zegt: “Dit zal dubbel en dwars goed worden gemaakt door de andere artiesten die ik met veel zorg heb uitgezocht!” Dit is de volledige line-up:

After another spectacular and mainly successful evening on February 11, the P60 in Amstelveen will be rocked again on July 7 with a new edition of Icon.

As usual, this whole evening will be in the spirit of an act that has proven itself in the past as a true icon within a certain style. This time it is an artist within the Frenchcore, a style that has gained considerable popularity over the past few years. There is one name inextricably linked with this music, and especially since last year is a certain factor in the scene: Dr. Peacock! His energetic sets and banging productions are widely appreciated, and he deserves it like no other to get his own "Icon".

As many people know, Steve lately suffered from some hearing problems, so he will not be able to perform the whole night himself, but as he says: "This will no doubt be compensated by the other artists I carefully picked out! " This is the complete line-up:

Après la spectaculaire et très réussie édition du 11 février dernier, le P60 à Amstelveen accueillera de nouveau, le 7 juillet, une nouvelle édition de Icon.

Comme d'habitude, cette soirée sera dans l'esprit d'un acte qui s'est avéré dans le passé comme une véritable Icône dans un certain style. Cette fois, il s'agit un artiste Frenchcore, un style qui a considérablement gagné en popularité ces dernières années. Et s'il y a un nom indissociable à cette musique, surtout depuis l'année dernière, c'est bien sur Dr Peacock ! Ses sets énergiques et ses productions sont très appréciés, il mérite donc sa propre "Icon".

Comme vous le savez probablement, Steve a eu ces derniers temps quelques problèmes d'audition, il ne sera donc pas en mesure de mixer seul toute la nuit mais comme il le dit lui-même "cela permettra de faire une doublure avec d'autres artistes avec lesquels je travaille que j'ai soigneusement choisis !"
